Travel throughout the hop growing regions in Washington, Oregon, and Idaho scouting for pest and disease pressure and relaying findings to growers in our network. Assist the grower services team with cutting edge agronomic research in hops. Most days consist of field work, either scouting yards or data collection for various projects relating to plant health and management. Interns are exposed to several different education and enrichment opportunities including an introduction to hop breeding, brewing, supply chain management, sensory analysis, and more. Receive a holistic understanding of the hop industry, from breeder to brewer.
